About Sugath
Sugath Warnakulasuriya, Founder and Managing Director of Thalamus Labs, is a multidisciplinary executive, engineer, and consultant with a deep commitment to improving how industrial manufacturers, distributors, and service providers operate and grow.
He holds a PhD in Electrical Engineering and a Master’s degree in Computer Science from the University of California, and studied entrepreneurship at the USC Marshall School of Business. His career spans management consulting at McKinsey — where he advised Fortune 1000 and mid-market companies — as well as founding and leading multiple technology startups.
Sugath’s work bridges strategy, technology, and execution. His passion for integrating disciplines across the arts and sciences forms the foundation of Thalamus Labs’ approach to solving complex, adaptive business challenges with integrity and impact.
